This page gives safety guidance for the pet products sold by Amado Pet Shop Botanica, operated by AMADO PET SHOP, INC, and explains the limits of the product information on https://amadopetshopbotanica.com/.
Pet toy safety
- Our products are toys for cats and dogs. They are not toys for children.
- Choose a toy that suits your pet’s size, age and play style. Each product page lists the pet type, dimensions, weight, materials and the play styles the toy is made for.
- Supervise your pet when it plays with any toy.
- Check toys regularly. Take a toy away if it is torn, damaged or worn, or if any piece comes loose.
- No pet toy is indestructible. Toys are not meant for unsupervised chewing.
- Plush toys are made for carrying, cuddling and gentle chewing, not for hard chewing.
- Catnip toys contain dried catnip. Not every cat responds to catnip.
- Hanging toys should be hung where your pet cannot become tangled in the cord, and taken down when you are not there to supervise.
- Store toys out of the reach of small children.
Health questions
Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If your pet swallows part of a toy, shows signs of distress, or has a health question, contact your veterinarian right away.
